Help with ZIP, RAR, 7Z and other archives on iPhone and iPad.

Open or extract an archive

Open Ziply, browse to an archive, and select it to inspect its contents. Choose Extract All or select individual entries. For password-protected archives, enter the password when prompted.

Create a ZIP archive

Select one or more files or folders, choose Compress, give the archive a name, and select the destination. Premium includes batch workflows and password-protected ZIP creation.

Access cloud files

Ziply works with Apple’s Files system. iCloud Drive and local storage are available free.

Restore Premium

Open Premium and choose Restore Purchase while signed in to the Apple Account that bought Ziply Premium. A lifetime purchase can be restored on supported devices associated with that account.

Troubleshooting

An archive will not open

Confirm the file has finished downloading, has the expected extension and is not damaged. Some RAR archives may require every part of a multi-part set to be present.

A cloud file is unavailable

Open Apple’s Files app, confirm the file is downloaded, and check that iCloud Drive is enabled in Settings.

A password is rejected

Passwords are case-sensitive. Confirm the archive’s password with its sender and check for spaces introduced when copying it.
